Losing everything, and moving on (and Beelieve).

April 20, 2014 10:00 am

So, yesterday we experienced technical difficulties with Supreme Arena and Dropbox.

It’s a bit of a long story, but sadly, we lost almost all of our progress on Supreme Arena. So, with a hopefully development-filled summer coming up, we took some time to talk about and decide what would be best to do next.

After some long, deep discussions, we decided it would be best to move on and start a new game. We don’t know much about it yet, but we are going to try to keep up weekly update videos and hopefully blogposts a lot more often. We’ve learned quite a few things in the last 8 months of developing Supreme Arena (one of them being how not to lose your game), and we are hoping to take this knowledge into the development of our new game. We will have more information on this soon.

Also, for those of you who didn’t know, we have a new game coming out early this summer! It is called “Beelieve” and you can watch the trailer here.┬áThis game has been in the works for about 2 months, and is something we are very proud of. It will bee free, and I hope you all will enjoy it!

I will hopefully have more news on the new project soon, and I will also be competing in next weekend’s Ludum Dare.┬áSo look forward to that!

Not to be rude but that game was really nice. I think your best one. Just because you have a difficulty doesn’t mean you start a new game. Your supposed to not give up. If everybody quit when they hit a hard spot. Then the human race would have nothing. Redoing a game would only help make it better. That’s part of being a good developer.
