Our blood system, and stalling.

So, I didn’t post yesterday because I figured I would have the shop done today, and be able to post about that.

But, we have gotten carried away with the details of the interface, and it doesn’t seem like the shop will be done for a few days. So for today I thought I’d discuss how our blood system works.

Our blood system is made up of three simple parts. The in-air blood, the on-tile blood, and the blood splatters.

When you shoot a zombie two things happen immediately.
1. A randomly selected blood splatter image appears on the background where the bullet made contact:

2. A group of randomly selected, in-air blood particles are spawned that fly through the air until hitting the ground.

When those in-air blood particles come into contact with a tile, a randomly selected on-tile blood image is chosen! And I can’t show you any of those, because we haven’t made any yet. For now we are just using red rectangles.
